Telangana State Rashtriya Lok Dal (TRLD) President and Former MLC Kapilavai Dileep Kumar’s ‘Social Awareness Rath Yatra’ reached Nagarkurnool on Saturday, drawing a large crowd of supporters and local leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Dileep Kumar expressed concern over the state’s governance, saying, ‘It is very sad that Telangana, formed on the self-sacrificing donations of 369 people in the first phase of the movement and 1,200 in the second, remains only a geographical Telangana. Power has still not been handed to the masses.’
He called for the immediate release of Rs 26,000 crore pending under the fee reimbursement scheme and the settlement of arrears in the Rajiv Aarogyasri health scheme. Highlighting the plight of farmers affected by untimely rains, he demanded Rs 3.25 lakh per acre in compensation.
Addressing youth, Dileep Kumar urged them to actively participate in politics to shape Telangana’s future. The event saw participation from several public organizations and TRLD state leaders, including Mallesh Muddam, Rishab Jain, Jani, Narasimha Rao, Sudhakar, and others.
