In recognition of exceptional young innovators, OSIET recently honored Shreyas Srinivasan from Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, a senior at Ardrey Kell High School, for his groundbreaking work. Srinivasan developed FinBioScan, a behavioral finance tool for the biotechnology sector that differentiates genuine scientific progress from persuasive hype.

FinBioScan transforms qualitative indicators into actionable scores, helping clinicians, investors, and R&D teams assess translational risk. Already applied to Theranos, Aurion Biotech, Moderna, and startups like Aether, Srinivasan’s innovation exemplifies practical, evidence-based research. OSIET recognized his contribution with the prestigious Young Researcher Award.
