Khairatabad Ganesh idol immersion on Sep 6

Hyderabad: The Khairatabad Ganesh Utsav Samiti has decided to immerse the Maha Ganapati on the September 6 as the lunar eclipse is on September 7. On Sunday, huge crowds congregated to see the famous Khairatabad Maha Ganapati idol. The metro rail trains were chock-a-block and even the RTC buses were full.
While there is a long queue at the ticket booking counter at the Khairatabad Metro station. Due to the huge rush of devotees, the police have made arrangements to prevent any untoward incidents in the area.
