Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Sunday conducted a site inspection at Vanasthalipuram Junction in relation to the proposed elevated corridor from LB Nagar to Pedda Amberpet in Hyderabad. Joined by officials from the National Highways department, the Minister assessed the location of the proposed corridor and underlined the pressing need to push the project forward.

Komatireddy mentioned that the government is planning to build the elevated corridor at an approximate cost of Rs. 650 crore. He pointed out that it will be developed as a greenfield road, enabling commuters to travel from Hyderabad to Vijayawada within a matter of hours. "I plan to meet Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on August 6 to discuss the prompt implementation of the proposed work," he said.

The Minister also lashed out at BRS working president KT Rama Rao for asserting that Hyderabad had been entirely transformed during the BRS government’s term through the construction of flyovers. He drew attention to the delay in completing the Uppal–Narapalli flyover and questioned what meaningful development the BRS government had provided to the public over the past ten years.

"The previous BRS government failed to deliver any significant development. It has burdened Telangana with debt while proclaiming it as a 'golden Telangana.' The people voted for the Congress party to protect the state. What connection does Kavitha have to BC reservations? Why has she not addressed the concerns of BCs in the last ten years? Our Indiramma government’s approach is to ensure that all eligible individuals receive benefits such as ration cards, rice, and Indiramma houses," stated Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. The Minister was accompanied by Ibrahimpatnam MLA Mal Reddy Ranga Reddy, Chairman of the Road Development Corporation Mal Reddy Ram Reddy, and other local leaders.
