Konda once again appears before Congress party’s disciplinary committee

Former MLC and Congress senior leader Konda Murali appeared before the party’s Disciplinary Committee at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday and gave his explanation over the complaints lodged by Warangal leaders. Leaders from the former Warangal district, accused Minister Konda Surekha and her spouse, Murali of acting independently and failing to collaborate with other party members in decision-making. The leaders called on AICC Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan and TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud to initiate disciplinary measures.

Subsequently, the Disciplinary Committee issued a notice to Konda Murali seeking clarification. In response Konda Murali submitted a six-page letter to the chairman of the Disciplinary Committee. However, the Committee has issued a show-cause notice again on the matter. In this regard, Konda Murali again appeared before the committee for the second time. Later, speaking to the media, Konda Murali expressed that his allegiance to the Congress party runs deep, affirming his commitment to adhere to its directives. Mallu Ravi, the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, noted that the panel had reviewed the conflicts among leaders in Warangal.
