The cultural programs featuring Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) were held with great enthusiasm and joy at a convention center in Vijayawada. The event, graced by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu, provided moments of immense laughter and enjoyment for all present.
The participating legislators showcased their talents in various cultural competitions, displaying a spirit of friendly rivalry. Their performances were met with applause and appreciation from the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and Speaker. Announcing that these cultural programs will now be an annual tradition, the Chief Minister expressed his delight at witnessing the enthusiasm of the people's representatives.
Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu, while addressing the gathering, shared his happiness in witnessing such a vibrant event. Reflecting on his long political career since 1983, he recalled the era of former Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao. He fondly recounted how NTR, apart from his political acumen, actively participated in cultural events, even portraying the role of Duryodhana in a performance and winning first prize.
The Speaker emphasized that this legacy of cultural engagement among legislators was being upheld by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, ensuring that such traditions continue.
The event witnessed the participation of several ministers, government whips, senior officials, State Chief Secretary Vijayanand, and other dignitaries from various government departments.
