Police arrests a man for cheating unemployed persons

The Sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South West Zone Team, Hyderabad have joint operation with Langer house police arrested a cheater who indulged in cheating the innocent people and unemployed persons on the guise of providing hand loan by mortgage land papers and promising partnership in a new start up and took the money by deception.

Accused person was identified as Guru Sriranga Srinivas Bodanaboina (43). Police have seized Motorola g34 5G mobile phone, Innova Crysta from him.  

The accused Guru Sriranga Srinivas Bodanaboina started real estate business. He had committed the following cheating, fraud, criminal breach of trust, and misrepresentation.

In 2019, the complainant contacted Srinivas through social media for advice on exporting vegetables and seeds. Srinivas agreed to coordinate his buy-back concept for okra seeds. However, he supplied fake seeds that didn't meet regulations, sold them under an unregistered brand, and collected money from farmers. Accordingly a case has been registered on the above seed business in LB Nagar.

In September 2022, the complainant's son requested a hand loan of Rs 3,00,000 and accused agreed with an 18% interest rate, his house sale deed situated Bapunagar in Hyderabad as surety. However, instead of executing a mortgage deed, the accused allegedly signed a sale deed by manipulation. Accused provided Rs 3,00,000 to the complainant, with Rs 2 lakhs transferred online and the remaining amount given in cash. In 2023, the accused allegedly hatched another plan to cheat the complainant, executing a rectification deed to avoid registration and stamp duty charges. Furthermore, the accused obtained loans from Aadhar Housing Finance Limited (Rs 49,50,000) and Home First Finance Company India Limited (Rs 20,00,000) using the same property as collateral.

In the year of 2023, the accused had cheated Shiva Kumar on the pretext of startup of a business on partnership basis and took an amount of Rs 17,50,000 from him. On credible information, police teams arrested the accused person.
