‘Makutam’ trailer impresses, movie to release on August 14

The recently unveiled trailer of upcoming movie and actor Vishal’s directorial debut ‘Makutam’ has further raised expectations by offering a glimpse into the film’s action, family emotions and romantic elements. Produced by the late R.B. Choudary under the Super Good Films banner, the film stars Anjali and Dushara Vijayan as the female leads and is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on August 14.

The trailer opens in full-on action mode before shifting towards family drama and emotional sequences.  One of the highlights is Vishal’s dialogue delivery in the roles of Linga and Krupakar. The final shot of the trailer has also emerged as one of its major highlights, leaving viewers curious about the story and Vishal’s characters. Cinematographers Richard M. Nathan and Abhinandan Ramanujam have captured the film with striking visuals.  Music composer GV Prakash Kumar’s songs and background score also appear to be important elements of the film.
