The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South West Zone team and Veterinary doctor, Goshamahal circle -14, GHMC, Hyderabad conducted a raid on A to Z Sheep & Goat offal store situated at Chisti Chaman Dargah in Mangalhat and arrested a 40-year-old man for selling stale and spoiled offal’s of sheep and goat like Paaya, Mundi, Beja, Gurde, Kaleji about 12 tons total worth of property in Rs 8,00,000 from his possession.
Arrested person was identified as Mohammed Afroz, owner of A to Z Sheep & Goat offal store and he is a resident of Aman Nagar colony in Mangalhat. The accused Mohammed Afroz was found illegally purchasing the stale and spoiled offal’s of sheep and goat in the cheap rate from wholesale market and preserving the same at his A to Z Sheep & Goat offal store. Further, he supplies the same at marriage functions, events and hotels and earns money by putting the human life at risk, said police.
Consuming these stale and spoiled offal’s of sheep and goat can lead to various health issues. Acting on a tip the police teams and Veterinary doctor, Goshamahal circle -14, GHMC, conducted the raid on the shop on Wednesday.
