Medicover Cancer Institute conducted its inaugural event ‘Cancer Survivors Month: Celebrating the Superheroes’ at the Blue Planet Auditorium. The event brought together cancer survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and hospital staff to honor the strength, courage, and resilience of cancer warriors.

Distinguished guests including Mitalee Agrawal (National Pride and Beauty Icon of Telangana – Mrs India Telangana Crown Winner 2025) and Sumanthi Churukanti (Cancer Fighter and Housewife) graced the occasion. They shared powerful personal stories that deeply inspired and moved the audience.

The program featured key insights from Medicover’s expert oncology team like Dr. Praveen discussed the challenges in cancer treatment and emphasized the need for a holistic, patient-centered approach to comprehensive care. Dr. Prashanth, Radiation Oncologist, spoke about advancements in radiation oncology, especially for pediatric patients, with a focus on improving their quality of life.

Dr. Ravi Chandar, Surgical Oncologist & Robotic Surgeon, highlighted the role of minimally invasive and robotic surgeries in delivering better outcomes and quicker recovery times for patients.
