Metro India MD C Vijaya Rajam appointed to Yadagirigutta Devasthanam Board

The Telangana Government has constituted the Board of the Yadagirigutta Devasthanam. Among the nominated members is C. Vijaya Rajam, Managing Director of Metro India, alongside Minister Konidela Surekha and other members.

M Satyanarayana Reddy is the Chairman. The other members include Vinod Venkataswamy, MLA,  Vijayender Tulla,  Pochaboina Eshwaramma Yadav,  Gundu Mallaiah,  Swathi Kantamani,  M Raghavendar Rao,  Dr. Lakshminarayana Naik, Founder Trustee.

Ex-officio Members comprise Chief Secretary to the Government of Telangana,  Principal Secretary, Revenue (Endowments) Department,  Commissioner, Endowments Department, District Collector, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Vice-Chairman, Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authority (YTDA), Executive Officer, Yadagirigutta Devasthanam, and  Sthanacharya/Senior-most Pradhana Archaka

The term of the Chairman and nominated members, excluding the ex-officio members and the Founder Trustee, will be two years from the date of appointment or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The Government has directed the Executive Officer of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam, Yadagirigutta, to administer the oath of office and secrecy to the Chairman and the nominated members of the newly constituted Board.
