State Roads & Buildings, Investment and Infrastructure Minister BC Janardhan Reddy said on Sunday that the members of the State Road Development Corporation (RDC) should extend their full cooperation to the government's initiatives for the development of roads. The minister also stated that that despite the financial difficulties, the development of roads is the topmost priority of the government and added that development works worth Rs 2,500 crores have been taken up apart from tenders worth Rs 1000 crores being called for.

Minister BC Janardhan Reddy said that the government will consider developing roads without burdening the people with the public-private partnership (PPP) model.

AP RDC Chairman Pragada Nageswara Rao asked the new members to bring to the notice of the Minister any problems they have while protecting the roads in their jurisdiction. The Chairman urged the members to become partners in the development of the state and bring a good name to the government.
