Minister for Panchayat Raj Seethakka stated that the State government is earnestly committed to empowering women economically, with a target of creating one crore women millionaires.

On Monday, the Minister visited the saree production centres operating under the Indira Mahila Shakti scheme in Venkataravnagar, Sircilla. During her visit, she engaged with the weavers to gain insights into their challenges and gather their feedback.

"I have come to Sircilla to observe the saree production under the Indira Mahila Shakti scheme. The workers are seeking year-round employment. I will raise this issue with the Chief Minister and consider potential solutions for providing full employment," she mentioned.

The Minister reaffirmed that the State government is progressing towards the objective of making one crore women millionaires.

"Our focus is on enhancing women's economic empowerment. In addition to offering free bus travel, we are also enabling women to become bus owners," Seethakka added.
