Nizamabad Rural MLA Dr. Rekulapalli Bhupathi Reddy on Monday laid the foundation stone for the construction of the State Bank of India (SBI) administrative building at the Mopal Mandal headquarters.

Speaking on this occasion, MLA Dr. Bhupathi Reddy stated that he shares a deep connection with Mopal Mandal, recalling his active participation in the Telangana movement in Mopal village. He mentioned that during the election campaign, he had promised to bring an SBI branch to Mopal Mandal.

He shared his happiness about the administrative building being constructed at a cost of Rs 30 crores and responded positively to the demand for a future training center, promising to establish one. He added that the SBI administrative building would be a major step in developing the region. Highlighting SBI’s 120-year legacy, he said that establishing a branch in this area would not only support the local economy but also provide employment opportunities across four different levels. He urged SBI officials to prioritize jobs for local residents.
