‘Modi govt cannot stop TG Congress cadre from reaching Delhi’

TPCC Vice President Dr Kota Neelima alleged on Wednesday that Modi government is afraid of Congress party and was trying to prevent people from joining the rally proposed to be held in Delhi on November 1.

The rally was called by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on the anti-SIR theme, ‘Vote Bachao, Desh Bachao’. However Dr.Neelima made it clear that no one can stop Congress party leaders and cadre from reaching Delhi. Over 10,000 people will be travelling from Telangana to participate in the rally. Telangana Congress leaders were detained today in large numbers when they sat on dharna at the Rail Nilayam offices of Railway Ministry.  

Senior leaders including TPCC  President Mahesh Goud, Minister Ponnam Prabahakar, MPs, MLAs and Contested MLAs were detained by force.  Trains were denied to Telangana Congress cadre and leaders who are set to travel to Delhi for the Nov 1 mega public rally.
