Narayan Seva Sansthan (NSS), an NGO dedicated to empowering persons with disabilities will organize a large-scale free Narayan Modular Artificial Limb and Calipers Fitment Camp in Hyderabad on Sunday May 3. The initiative is being organized under the joint aegis of CSR partner Make A Change Foundation (UK), Golden Jubilee, and Shri Swaminarayan Temple Willesden (UK). The camp will be held at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally from 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
The press conference was addressed by spokespersons: Alka Choudhary – Patron, Narayan Seva Sansthan; Mahendra Singh Rawat – Hyderabad Ashram Head and Hari Prasad Ladda – Camp In-charge. They informed that only pre-selected differently abled beneficiaries will be able to avail the benefits of this camp and that 745 differently-abled individuals will be provided with a total of 815 Narayan Modular artificial limbs and calipers free of cost. At the camp, expert doctors and a skilled technical team will carry out the fitment of advanced Narayan Modular limbs.
Speaking on the initiative, Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan, said that keeping in mind the growing needs of differently-abled individuals, such camps are being organized across various cities in the country like Delhi, Bangalore, Indore, Agra, and Meerut to extend support to as many differently abled individuals as possible. “Our goal is to provide artificial limbs to every person in need, enabling them to lead a self-reliant and dignified life, ” he stated.
