In a move to strengthen road safety and promote helmet usage, the police department implemented a ‘No Helmet – No Entry’ rule at the DCP office in Mancherial on Thursday. The initiative is part of the “Arrive Alive” campaign aimed at creating awareness among the public about the importance of wearing helmets.
Speaking on the occasion, DCP Eggadi Bhaskar said that wearing a helmet is essential for two-wheeler riders to protect their lives and reduce the risk of fatal injuries in accidents. He made it clear that staff and visitors arriving at the DCP office without helmets would not be allowed entry into the premises.
The rule has also been extended to all police stations across the district, where personnel must strictly adhere to helmet usage. Officials emphasized that wearing a helmet is not just a legal requirement but a crucial safety measure.
Police authorities stated that such initiatives are intended to enforce stricter compliance while encouraging a sense of responsibility among citizens regarding road safety. They urged the public to follow traffic rules and ensure helmet use for their own protection.
