“Plantation Run 2026” conducted at Miyapur, draws 2000 participants

The “Plantation Run 2026,” organized by Ignite Junior Colleges & Schools, was conducted near Miyapur Metro Station on Saturday, witnessing participation from nearly 2,000 individuals.  The run featured multiple categories, including 10K, 5K, and 3K races, attracting participants across age groups. Winners in each category were recognized and awarded cash prizes. The program was graced by several distinguished personalities from various fields such as sports, healthcare, construction, etc.

Each participant was provided with a plant sapling. Following the run, attendees engaged in a plantation drive, reinforcing the event’s message of building a greener and more sustainable future. Speaking on the occasion, the founder of Ignite Junior Colleges & Schools, Ramesh, highlighted that the objective of the event is to raise awareness about environmental protection. He further noted that the funds collected through the event would be utilized for future plantation initiatives.
