Everything is ready for the launch of PSLVC-60 rocket from Sriharikota Rocket Launch Center known as “Satish Dhawan Space Centre(SDSC) on Monday at 9:58 pm. The countdown has been going on steadily since 8:58 pm on Sunday.The PSLVC-60 rocket weighs 229 tons.
Along with the chaser and target satellites weighing 440 kg, the PSLVC-60 rocket will carry 24 small satellites into orbit. The chaser and target satellites will provide services for two years. Scientists have designed a docking system to connect the chaser and target satellites in orbit with complex technology.
After the connection, they will be separated and study the earth’s surface, natural resource monitoring, greenery, and radioactivity in orbit. Also, chaser and target satellites will provide data for manned experiments. With this rocket launch, ISRO will take the first step towards building a space station.

There is great excitement in ISRO circles with the launch of PSLVC-60 rocket. Meanwhile. ISRO Chairman Somnath performed pujas at the Sri Chengalamma temple in Sullurpet on the occasion of the PSLV-60 rocket launch on Monday for success of the rocket launch.
The Spadex satellite to be launched in this rocket is a special satellite. The ISRO Chairman said that two satellites are being launched in this launch and that the Spadex satellite will be used only to introduce a new technology called space docking.
He said that 24 instruments will be installed in the 4th stage of this launch and 24 research projects will be carried out. He said that the NAVIC satellite will reach the moon in January 2025. He said that GSLV F15, PSLV C61, and GSLV Mk3 launches will be conducted by March 2025 and the “Gaganyaan” test flight will also be launched in another two to three months.
He said that ISRO has taken the initiative to send the US-based NISAR satellite to the moon. ISRO Chairman Dr. Somnath mentioned that more rocket launches will be conducted in 2025 than in 2024.
