Raakaasa’ enters Netflix global top 10 in Non-English

Hyderabad: After a successful theatrical run. The film “Raakaasa” has now officially entered the Netflix Global Top 10 Non-English Films chart at No. 7, registering an impressive 1.2 million views worldwide during its debut tracking week from April 27 to May 3.

The achievement places Raakaasa among the most-watched non-English films globally on the platform this week, alongside titles from multiple international markets. During its theatrical run, Raakaasa had established itself as a family favorite with audiences embracing it as a relaxed, laughter-filled outing.

The film’s cross-generational appeal and entertainment dynamic have also played an important role in helping it connect with streaming audiences. Its entry into the Netflix Global Top 10 further underlines the growing international visibility of Telugu Cinéma on streaming platforms. Backed by Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal under Pink Elephant Pictures in association with Z Studios, and directed by Manasa Sharma, the film stars Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead.
