The effect of a low pressure area has cooled the weather across Hyderabad and Telangana. Hyderabad city has been experiencing fog since Thursday morning. Light to moderate rain is lashing many parts of the city.

This has increased the intensity of cold across Hyderabad city. People and motorists are facing severe difficulties as rain continues to fall in some part of the city from morning till night.

Residents who ventured out in Secunderabad, Tirumalgiri, Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Khairatabad, Panjagutta, Ameerpet, Borabanda, Kukatpally, Bachupally, Tarnaka, Kothi, Nampally, Himayath Nagar, and other areas got drenched in the rain.

The intensity of cold in the city has also increased significantly due to rain and fog. Due to this, people are confined to their homes.

On Thursday morning, pleasant weather was witnessed in the areas around Hussain Sagar and Tank Bund with sheets of fog.

Alwal, Chilakalguda, and Jawahar Nagar areas also received rain. Rain also fell in Shadnagar town of Rangareddy district and the constituency. Light rain continued to fall in Yadadri throughout the day.

Rain fell in many places in Hyderabad city on Wednesday night as well. On the other hand, the effect of the surface circulation formed in the Bay of Bengal is also visible in the state of Telangana. The Hyderabad Meteorological Department said that rains are falling in the state due to the influence of north and northeast winds.

It said that light to moderate rains will occur on Friday.
