Rainbow Children’s Heart Institute (RCHI), in partnership with Pure Little Hearts Foundation (PLHF), launched the Rainbow Athletic Heart Clinic on World Heart Day.

This new facility focuses on advanced cardiovascular care for young athletes and active children, offering specialized screening and preventive services. India sees nearly 2 lakh children born annually with Congenital Heart Defects (CHDs), many of whom remain untreated due to lack of awareness and financial barriers. Since its inception in 2022, PLHF has supported over 500 underprivileged children with life-saving heart surgeries and interventions.

The launch event, held at RCHI, featured a Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing workshop and gathered around 150 attendees, including doctors, children, parents, and donors. Key dignitaries included badminton coach Pullela Gopichand, child artist Sukriti Veni Bandireddy, and RCHI Director Dr. Dinesh Chirla.
