Leaders of the Reddy Aikya Vedika have demanded that the Telangana government establish a dedicated Reddy Corporation to address the welfare and development needs of the Reddy community. Speaking at Tadwai mandal headquarters in Kamareddy district on Sunday, Reddy Aikya Vedika State President Nagarthi Chandra Reddy said the absence of a separate corporation for the community has resulted in several difficulties. He recalled that the government had earlier promised to constitute a Reddy Corporation but alleged that the assurance has not yet been fulfilled.
Chandra Reddy said the organization is working to strengthen the Reddy Aikya Vedika at the grassroots level by expanding its presence in villages across the state. He urged the government to honor its earlier commitment and establish the corporation at the earliest. He also raised concerns over the state's urea distribution system, calling on the government to withdraw the urea app currently being used for fertilizer allocation. Instead, he demanded that farmers be supplied with two bags of urea per acre to ensure timely availability of fertilizers.
