The Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy commenced his executive education programme, “Leadership for the 21st Century” at the renowned Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University, on Sunday afternoon local time.

The programme began with an orientation session and cohort introduction, followed by the inaugural class on “Analysing Authority and Leadership.” On Monday, classes commenced early at 7 AM, featuring a rigorous schedule including large-group case analyses, multiple thematic sessions, and collaborative work in consultative groups. Sessions continued throughout the day, concluding around 6 PM.

This week-long executive programme (January 25–31) marks a significant milestone, as Revanth Reddy becomes the first sitting Chief Minister from India to participate in such an initiative at the Harvard Kennedy School, aimed at enhancing leadership skills in complex, modern governance challenges.

Meanwhile, the Boston area, including Cambridge, is experiencing a severe winter emergency due to Winter Storm Fern. The storm has brought heavy snowfall exceeding 2 feet (over 24 inches) in parts of the region, accompanied by extreme cold with temperatures dipping below -20°C. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the Chief Minister is actively engaging in the on-campus programme.
