CM returns to the land where his political journey began 20 years ago

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will visit Nagarkurnool and Mahabubnagar districts on Saturday in a tour that carries both political and emotional significance, as he returns to Midjil, the place where his public life began two decades ago.
Marking the completion of 20 years as a public representative, the Chief Minister will express his gratitude to the people of Midjil, who elected him as ZPTC in 2006, paving the way for his political journey. Over the past two decades, he has risen through various positions, serving as MLC, MLA, MP, TPCC President, and now Chief Minister of Telangana.
The Chief Minister will depart from Hyderabad by a special helicopter at 11.45 am and arrive at Urkondapeta in Nagarkurnool district at 12.30 pm. He will offer special prayers at the Hanuman Temple and lay the foundation stone for its development works. At the temple premises, the Chief Minister will interact with his early political associates, senior local leaders, and well wishers who supported him during the formative years of his political career. He will also join them for lunch.
Later, he will travel by road to Midjil in Mahabubnagar district. At Veljala Crossroads, he will unveil the statues of late senior leader Gopal Reddy and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. The Chief Minister will subsequently perform the groundbreaking ceremony for several development projekcts before addressing a public meeting at Midjil.
The visit symbolizes a full circle in Revanth Reddy's political journey, as he returns to the very constituency that gave him his first electoral victory. The Chief Minister considers the blessings and continued support of the people of Midjil as the foundation of his rise in public life and will use the occasion to reaffirm his commitment to the region's development and the welfare of its people.
