Review meet of Bonalu arrangements held

A high-level review meeting was held by Telangana Endowments Minister Konda Surekha at the Sri Balkampet Yellamma–Pochamma Temple to review the arrangements for the Kalyanotsavam and Bonalu celebrations scheduled to be held from July 20 to July 22. The meeting was attended by TPCC Vice President and Sanathnagar Congress Constituency In-charge Dr. Kota Neelima, District Collector Priyanka Ala, Endowments Commissioner Hanumantha Rao and senior officials from various government departments. 

Minister Konda Surekha stated that the Bonalu festival, a symbol of Telangana's rich cultural heritage and traditions, must be celebrated with grandeur while ensuring that devotees experience no inconvenience. She directed all line departments to function in close coordination and make meticulous advance preparations for every aspect of the festival.  Dr. Kota Neelima observed that lakhs of devotees from across Telangana visit the Balkampet Yellamma Temple during the Bonalu festivities every year. She urged all departments to work in coordination to provide devotees with a safe and spiritually fulfilling experience.
