Hyderabad-based deep-tech robotics company ‘The Bot Factory’ is set to launch Project SHUDH, an artificial intelligence-powered sewer governance fleet aimed at reducing human entry into hazardous sewer environments. The platform will be launched on July 11 at T-Works by D. Sridhar Babu, Minister for IT, Electronics, Communications, Industries & Commerce, Government of Telangana.

The event will be attended by Sanjay Jaju, Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana, and Sri Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, Hyderabad Metropolitan Area & Sports. Project SHUDH has been developed as a digital governance platform that combines robotics, artificial intelligence, GIS mapping, satellite-based monitoring and predictive analytics.

Project SHUDH is designed to operate in both vertical manholes and horizontal sewer pipelines. The Bot Factory said the platform has already been demonstrated in collaboration with the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB). The technology aims to help municipalities achieve zero manual sewer entry, improve worker safety, reduce maintenance costs and enable predictive infrastructure management.
