In the national-level karate championships held at Rajiv Indoor Stadium, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, from November 27 to 30, organized under the Okinawa Martial Arts Academy, Karimnagar’s Kota College student K Rishika showcased remarkable talent.

In the juniors 16–18 age category, Rishika secured second place in the Kumite (fight) event, winning the silver medal, and claimed the bronze medal in the Kata event.

College officials and teachers expressed their happiness over Rishika’s performance. They noted that regular training, rigorous practice, and guidance from her coaches were the key factors behind her success. They added that her consecutive achievements at the national level would contribute significantly to her future sports career.
