6-year-old dance prodigy stuns with mesmerizing Kuchipudi performance

In a stunning celebration of culture and devotion, 6-year-old dance prodigy Maddirala Kethana Reddy delivered a spellbinding Kuchipudi performance at SMR Vinay Iconia in Kondapur for Ganesh Chaturthi.

Her rendition to the powerful ‘Shivoham... Shivoham’ captivated the audience, blending traditional grace with modern flair.

Kethana’s journey from 2023 to 2025 is an inspiration, showcasing how age is no barrier when fueled by passion and discipline. Known for her daring routines involving fire, hula hoops, and balancing acts she stands out as a rare and fearless talent in the classical dance world.

She was honored by former CM Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at the Sankranthi Sambaralu in 2023 and has since received several prestigious accolades: Laasya Sundari Award, Jathiya Puraskar, Natya Kalasri Prathibha Award (2024), Telugu Book of Records – Nov 1, 2024 and India Book of Records – Dec 21, 2024.
