Rachakonda Special Operations Team (SOT) police raided a resort on the outskirts of the city in Maheshwaram on Tuesday night, where an alleged illegal party was being organized for fertilizer dealers.

According to police, the event was hosted by Saida Reddy, owner of Rockstar Fertilizers, along with Tirupati Reddy, a dealer of Veda Agri Fertilizers. The party was held at K Chandra Reddy Resorts in Maheshwaram mandal.

Authorities reported that around 56 fertilizer dealers and 20 women were participating in the gathering, which included dance performances. Acting on a tip-off, police in plain clothes initially entered the resort to observe the activities.

They later conducted searches and seized foreign liquor from the premises. All attendees were taken into custody, and cases have been registered against them, officials said.
