Sri Narasimha Jayanthi celebrated with devotion

The sacred festival of Sri Narasimha Jayanthi was celebrated with devotion and grandeur at the Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON Banjara Hills on Thursday. Thousands of devotees participated in the celebrations and received the blessings of Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi NarasimhaSwamy. The day began during the auspicious Brahma Muhurta with the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Mulavar Abhishekam to the deity. 

From 8:00 AM onwards, devotees had darshan of the decorated Lord in Vishesha Alankara. In the evening, a Pallaki-Utsavam was conducted, followed by grand “108 Kalasha Maha Abhishekam” to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Utsavar deity. A special pravachan was delivered by Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji (M.Tech, IIT Chennai), President, Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON Banjara Hills (Hare Krishna Movement), who explained the Divine significance of Lord Narasimha’s appearance and his eternal protection of Devotees.

“Abhayam”. a special guided chanting session along with Sri Narasimha Homa was also organized on this occasion for all Devotees.
