Hair artist Sunny Verma, founder of premium salon brand Sunnyhairport, has expanded the brand’s footprint with the launch of a new outlet in Bandra, Mumbai. The move follows the salon’s growing presence in Delhi and its rising visibility across digital platforms.

Originally from Himachal Pradesh, Sunny Verma currently works across Delhi, Mumbai, and international markets. He is known in the hair and beauty industry for specialised expertise in hair colouring, texture management, and styling techniques tailored for Indian hair types.

Sunnyhairport positions itself as a premium, consultation-led salon brand focused on personalised hair services. The brand emphasises detailed assessments, customised transformations, and structured after-care. From starting with a five-member team, Sunnyhairport has grown to four salon branches and employs over 100 professionals.

In recent years, the brand has gained strong digital traction through short-form hair transformation and transition videos on social media. These videos, some featuring public figures from entertainment and sports, including actors, dancers, musicians, and athletes, have helped increase the brand’s visibility among online audiences.

Sunny Verma began his professional journey in 2006, a period when advanced hair education opportunities in India were limited. To build expertise, he travelled to nearly 20 countries, studying international hair colour systems, research methodologies, and diverse hair textures. He spent over 15 years working as a Style Director with multiple brands before launching Sunnyhairport in 2020.

Beyond salon services, Verma also runs Sunnyhairport School, an education initiative aimed at providing professional training and global exposure to aspiring hair artists in India.

The Bandra launch marks the brand’s next phase of expansion, with continued focus on consistent service quality, innovation, and research in hair colour and maintenance techniques.
