Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka emphasized Telangana's commitment to large-scale road development under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The government aims to fulfill Telangana’s founding goals by improving infrastructure, industries, education, and healthcare, contributing to overall growth.

He highlighted that roads symbolize civilization, facilitating transportation from remote areas, boosting industry, creating jobs, and increasing income. During the HAM roads meeting at HITEX, Vikramarka announced plans to develop 7,947 km of roads through 17 packages under the Panchayat Raj department and 5,190 km through 17 packages under the Roads and Buildings department. Tenders will be called soon to commence work, with efforts to ease contractor payments through bank meetings.

The Deputy Chief Minister acknowledged the financial burdens left by previous governments, which had agreements worth Rs 1.75 lakh crore and token issuance for projects worth Rs 45,000 crore, but failed to clear dues. He assured that the current government, led by the Chief Minister and ministers, is working to improve the financial situation and support contractors.

Vikramarka called contractors, industrialists, and investors partners in wealth creation, emphasizing a humanitarian approach. Some roads will be upgraded to four lanes to meet traffic needs, with officials instructed to prepare and seek approval quickly. The government will fund 40% of HAM road projects and is mobilizing resources to ensure smooth execution, encouraging small contractors and promising future opportunities for them.
