Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, in his Independence Day message, extended warm greetings to all citizens of Bharat, particularly the people of Telangana. He said the day was a solemn occasion to honour the countless patriots who, with courage and unwavering faith, sacrificed their lives for the nation’s freedom. Their dedication, he noted, formed the foundation on which India stands today.

The Governor urged people to express gratitude to these heroic souls and to recommit themselves to building a stronger, self-reliant, and prosperous India. He called for unity, integrity, and collective progress to shape a brighter future. “As we salute our tricolour, may its three colours inspire courage, peace, and faith in our hearts,” he said, adding that the spirit of patriotism should guide the nation towards shared prosperity and harmony.
