The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that before the start of the academic year, “Thalliki Vandanam” (Rs 15,000 to the mother of each school going child) and DSC (recruitment of government school teachers) appointments will also be completed.” He said that a committee headed by the Finance Minister on inflation should monitor it regularly.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu gave direction to the ministers after the AP cabinet meeting on Thursday. He held separate meetings with the ministers. It is learnt that several key points have been mentioned by him. The CM suggested that the performance should be improved and the ministers should change gears.
The CM read out the performance on clearance of files of ministers. He is said to have stated that while the first six months didn’t matter, but from now any kind of laxity won’t be tolerated. The Chief Minister is ranked 3rd in the clearance of files. "You have to increase your performance in terms of departments.
Everyone needs to gear up. The Union Budget has come. Our budget will come in March. Various departments of central govrnment will have a budget left over in various departments. We have to get those funds," he said.
The CM is said to have told the ministers that five of the secretariat staff should be selected and one for each mandal should be appointed. He mentioned that each of them will have a professional and a special officer attached and will have to focus on GSDP. He said that whatsapp governance will get a good response.
“I am doing surveys regularly. The government will get a good positive response from the people on all the schemes. It needs to be increased further. When ministers questioned whether telugu people are being sent back from the US, the CM is said to have told them that nothing of such sort might happen and Telugu people may not have much trouble.
"Everyone has visas," he said. The CM said that outsourcing staff should not be recruited through APCOS but through departments. The Chief Minister advised the ministers to follow the same policy that existed before the YSRCP came to power.
