The Nallakunta Police in East Zone, Hyderabad, arrested three individuals on charges of cheating. The accused, identified as Abbas Ali Sheikh (46), Razzak Sheikh (23), and Ramij Sheikh (24), were apprehended on Monday. They are involved in three separate cases across various police stations in the city. 

The accused were skilled in making handmade gold ornaments. They collected raw gold from jewelry shop owners for repairs and manufacturing. However, after receiving gold worth over 1.9 kg from two companies, Shri Tulja Bhavani Jewellers and Sri Durga Bhavani Bullions Pvt. Ltd., the accused diverted the gold for their personal gain. They sold the stolen gold to unknown buyers and used the proceeds for lavish lifestyles, paying employees and investing in the stone business.

The case highlights a breach of trust and fraudulent activities involving the stolen gold, leading to significant financial loss for the jewelry businesses.
