Hyderabad: Cyberabad Joint CP Traffic, Dr. Gajarau Bhupal, IPS, on Monday distributed protective goggles to the Cyberabad Traffic Police at the Police Commissionerate.

The initiative aims to safeguard traffic personnel from pollution and harsh sunlight while they perform duties on the roads. Dr. Bhupal emphasized that ensuring the health and safety of traffic officers will directly enhance the quality of service they provide to the public.

The event saw participation from senior traffic officials including Madapur Traffic ADC Hanumanth Rao, Madapur Traffic ACP Chandrashekhar Reddy, Medchal Traffic ACP Venkata Reddy, Kukatpally Traffic ACP Venkatayya, and Balanagar Traffic ACP Giriprasad. Traffic Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, and other staff members were also present.

During the program, Dr. Bhupal personally handed over the goggles to officers from various traffic units across Cyberabad, highlighting the administration’s commitment to employee welfare. He noted that long hours under the sun and exposure to dust and vehicle emissions can have serious health effects, and such protective gear is a practical step to address these concerns.

The officers appreciated the initiative, stating that the goggles would help them perform their duties more comfortably while maintaining focus on traffic management and public safety.
