Sajjanar served TGSRTC as MD for a record tenure of over 4 years. He will  now take charge as Hyderabad City Police Commissioner

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) MD, VC Sajjanar, hopped onto a RTC bus 113 I/M from Lakdikapul-Telephone Bhavan bus stand to Bus Bhavan marking an end to his four years tryst from 2021 to 2005. He made UPI payment and took the ticket from the conductor and later, interacted with the passengers.

Soon after he took to X stating: My stop has arrived. The post said: “After steering TGSRTC for over four enriching years, it’s time for me to step off this bus and set out on a new route. Journeys pause, passengers move on, but the road always stretches ahead. It’s time for me to park the bus and accelerate toward the next challenge.

My deepest gratitude to the drivers and conductors—the lifeline of TGSRTC—and to every officer and passengers whose dedication kept the wheels turning. Public transport isn’t just travel; it’s a choice for a healthier planet and a healthier you. I’ll always remain its proud advocate.

The top cop ended the post by saying, “Soon, I’ll share a detailed reflection on my experiences, learnings, and takeaways from this unforgettable ride.” Is there a book coming along of his tenure at TGSRTC? One will have to wait and watch.
