Warangal MP Dr. Kadiyam Kavya has urged Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Jairam Gadkari to expedite the construction of missing service road links along the Yadadri-Warangal section of NH-163 (Hyderabad–Bhupalapatnam road).
In her letter, the MP noted that while the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had upgraded the stretch to a four-lane highway and provided service roads within village limits including Nidigonda, Raghunathpally, Chagal, Ghanpur Station, Chinnapendyal, and Karunapuram—key connecting links remain incomplete.
These gaps exist between stretches such as Km 87/200 to 92/400, Km 93/000 to 96/400, and several others up to Km 121/800. As a result, access to six villages remains disrupted, forcing local traffic onto the main highway.
Dr. Kavya emphasized that completing these links is crucial for ensuring safe and uninterrupted local access. She stressed that the required land had already been acquired during the initial four-laning phase, and completing the service roads would reduce congestion and lower the risk of accidents. She requested the Minister to instruct the concerned authorities to prioritize and expedite the construction to improve safety and connectivity in the region.
