Yashoda hosts conference on infectious diseases & critical care

Hyderabad: Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad under the aegis of its Department of Infectious Diseases, in association with the Clinical Infectious Diseases Society (CIDS), Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists (IAMM), and the Association of Physicians of India (API), Hyderabad Chapter, inaugurated the national-level scientific conference “INCYCON-2026” on Infectious Diseases and Critical Care today at The Westin Hotel, Raheja Mindspace IT Park, Hitec City.

The two-day conference, scheduled for May 2nd and 3rd was formally inaugurated by Dr. Pavan Gorukanti, Director of Yashoda Hospitals , who attended as the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pavan Gorukanti opined that INCYCON-2026 serves as a vital platform for experts to share their insights on molecular and advanced diagnostic techniques, clinical investigations, and emerging treatment strategies.  

Dr. Monalisa Sahu, Senior Infectious Diseases Specialist, Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad stated that timely intervention, especially in critical care settings, significantly impacts patient outcomes. She further mentioned that through INCYCON-2026, participants gain practical insights into managing complex infections and immune compromised patients.
