Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad, under the aegis of the Yashoda Center for Neuroendoscopy (YCNE), organized a three-day “International Skull Base Endoscopy Summit 2.0” from April 24 to 26, 2026. The summit brought together more than 500 national and international medical experts in the field of minimally invasive neurosurgery and skull base surgery. The participants shared their insights and experiences in microneurosurgery and neuroendoscopy. The third day was inaugurated by Dr. Pavan Gorukanti, Director, Yashoda Hospitals.
He stated that YCNE continued to play a key role in clinical excellence, training and research in the field of neuroendoscopy. Dr. Ayyadurai, Senior Neurosurgeon, Yashoda Hospitals – Secunderabad , said that the summit featured extensive discussions on endoscopic endonasal skull base surgery, transcranial approaches for complex lesions, and the management of pituitary tumors and sellar region disorders. The three-day cadaveric workshop was led by internationally renowned faculty including Dr. Theodore H. Schwartz (USA), Dr. Calvin Mak (Hong Kong), and Dr. Ayyadurai (India) as Course Directors.
