As part of the “Yogaandhra Masotsavasavas”, a special yoga asana learning program was conducted at Kondapalli fort on Saturday under the leadership of NTR District Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha. Joint Collector S. Ilakkia, APNGGO President A. Vidyasagar and others were also present. Hundreds of locals and employees performed yoga asanas along with them.
Speaking on the occasion, Collector Lakshmisha expressed his happiness to be organizing the event and said that yoga, our historical heritage, has become universal today and is like a weapon arrow of Rama to deal with lifestyle health issues like BP, diabetes and hormonal imbalance. “One should learn the 45-minute Common yoga protocol and make a part of yoga sadhana every day and live a healthy and happy life.”the Collector said.
Joint Collector S. Ilakkiya urged everyone to devote some time during the day for the implementation of yoga asanas. He said that Yogaandhra programs are being organized in prominent tourist places to create awareness among the people about the tourist areas as well apart from the yogas. As part of the Yogaandhra programme held at Kondapalli fort, Amaravati Yoga and Aerobics organized a creative performance with the theme of Operation Sindoor which inspired patriotism among the audience.
