In a stern directive aimed at building a corruption-free governance system, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday emphasized that corruption in any form, at any level of the administration, will not be tolerated. He instructed officials to investigate complaints immediately and take prompt action if irregularities are proven.
Reviewing public feedback collected through the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) and Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) surveys during a meeting at his Undavalli camp office, the Chief Minister said, “The people’s satisfaction is our strength. We are committed to delivering on our promises and maintaining transparency in governance.”
The Chief Minister reiterated his vision for a “Zero Corruption Andhra Pradesh”, asking officials to identify corruption-prone areas and prioritize transparency. He directed that technical auditing be conducted on public feedback to improve service delivery, especially in regions showing signs of dissatisfaction.
Chandrababu instructed officials to focus on ten core public concerns including welfare distribution, employment generation, road infrastructure, municipal services, and public health. “We must act where citizens expect the most – not just in rhetoric but with measurable progress,” he said.
He stressed on transparency and results in job creation, asking for a detailed report on how many beneficiaries received jobs through skill development, work-from-home programs, and new investments. The Chief Minister also emphasized the need to provide government services through WhatsApp Governance under the “Mana Mitra” platform in all 175 constituencies by August 15.
He suggested home delivery of ration supplies for elderly and differently abled beneficiaries, and called for feedback-based improvements to fair price shops, exploring options like cash or coupon-based distribution. On free sand policy, CM Naidu noted inconsistencies – dissatisfaction in sand-available areas and satisfaction in sand-deficit zones – and called for a region-wise analysis to address gaps. Findings from IVRS and CSDS surveys revealed broad public satisfaction across several sectors, though a few areas still need attention.
Chief Minister Naidu concluded by reaffirming his government's commitment to good governance, transparency, and rapid grievance resolution. “We are not just making announcements; we are honoring every promise,” he said.
