Reacting to the report, taking to social media platform X, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed happiness over Andhra Pradesh’s performance, calling it a “collective victory of the people.” He took to social media to highlight the state’s progress, using the phrase “AP is Rising” to capture the renewed momentum under his administration.
Chandrababu Naidu drew a sharp contrast between the current growth trajectory and the performance under the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government. He pointed out that under YSRCP's administration, the state's growth rate stood at just 6.19%. In just one year, the growth rate has seen a significant jump of 2.02%, reaching 8.21% under the new coalition government led by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
The Chief Minister also revealed that Andhra Pradesh has recorded a 12.02% growth rate at current prices, further underlining the strong economic recovery and renewed investor confidence in the state.
Chandrababu attributed the achievement to strategic governance and policy reforms implemented across key sectors such as agriculture, industry, services, and energy. “With focused initiatives and transparent policies, we have not only brought Andhra Pradesh back on track but have also gained the trust of the people and stakeholders,” he said. Emphasising the importance of inclusive progress, the Chief Minister said the latest figures reflect the combined efforts of the people, the government, and the business community. “This growth rate is not just a statistic—it is the result of our collective dedication. Let us continue this journey together towards a golden future,” he urged.
