The Amrabad Tiger Reserve will remain closed to the public, tourists, and wildlife enthusiasts from 1st July 2025 to 30th September 2025. This annual monsoon closure is essential for maintaining ecological balance and ensuring the conservation and protection of wildlife.
The monsoon season plays a critical role in the breeding cycles of many species, including tigers. Restricting access to the core areas during this time ensures that animals can mate, breed, and rear their young without disturbance. Moreover, heavy rains can cause trails to become slippery, lead to flooding, and pose serious safety risks for both tourists and forest personnel.
This closure period also allows the reserve to carry out essential maintenance, repair infrastructure damaged by the rains, and prepare for the upcoming tourist season. We request all visitors and wildlife enthusiasts to support this important conservation initiative and plan their visits accordingly.
