Anantha MK Institute of Medical Sciences marked the second anniversary of Anantha Rehab by hosting a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme titled “Frontiers in Pain & Neuro Rehabilitation”, in association with the Telangana Neurosciences Society (TNSS) on Saturday. The CME was inaugurated by Dr. M.S. Anand Rao, Director, Anantha MK Institute of Medical Sciences, and Dr. M. Chandrasheker, Director & CEO, along with Dr. N. Pratap Kumar, Secretary, TNSS. Senior clinicians and rehabilitation experts from across the region attended the programme.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. M. Chandrasheker said that modern pain and neuro rehabilitation is moving beyond medication to a more integrated, patient-centric approach. “Recovery today is about coordinated, compassionate science. This CME reflects our commitment to advancing collaborative care models for better patient outcomes,” he noted.
The CME featured two in-depth clinical sessions led by experts in interventional pain management and neuro-rehabilitation. The discussions focused on bridging specialties, adopting global best practices, and strengthening collaborative protocols in post-acute and long-term recovery. The institute offers a fully integrated recovery ecosystem with round-the-clock medical supervision, advanced physiotherapy, interventional procedures, speech and cognitive therapy, and nutritional and psychological support. It is India’s only rehabilitation centre offering non-invasive brain stimulation and is among the first in the region to introduce advanced therapies such as molecular hydrogen therapy and ozone-based pain interventions.
TNSS, a premier academic body representing neuroscience professionals across Telangana, continues to promote clinical excellence through education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
