The Andhra Pradesh government has intensified its real-time monitoring of welfare schemes, with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu directing officials to collect direct feedback from beneficiaries through the Real-Time Governance System (RTGS). According to Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy, the government is contacting nearly 10 lakh citizens every day to assess public satisfaction with ongoing welfare initiatives.
Speaking to the media, the minister said that the overall satisfaction rate among citizens stands at 75 percent, reflecting strong public approval of the administration’s welfare delivery. “We are taking direct feedback from people on multiple welfare schemes through RTGS and analysing their responses in detail. The public satisfaction level with the Energy Department, in particular, has been encouraging,” Parthasarathy said.
The government is also collecting feedback on specific policies such as the Sand Policy and Housing Programme, he added. The Chief Minister has directed departments to expedite the clearing of pending bills and ensure that citizen-facing digital platforms are more accessible.
Highlighting digital governance, Parthasarathy noted that many citizens are not fully utilising the WhatsApp-based public service application introduced by the government. “The Chief Minister has instructed officials to develop a more user-friendly version of the app so that people can easily access public services and lodge grievances,” he said.
In a significant employment-related announcement, the minister revealed that the government has resolved to create over 7 lakh jobs in the next 16 months, underscoring its commitment to economic revival and youth empowerment. With its data-driven approach and focus on real-time citizen engagement, the Naidu-led administration is striving to ensure transparency, accountability, and measurable progress in the implementation of welfare schemes across Andhra Pradesh.
