Anupam Kher announces scholarship

Veteran actor invites aspiring actors to perform a Tanvi The Great scene to win Satish Kaushik Scholarship at Actor Prepares

Actor Anupam Kher has announced the Satish Kaushik Scholarship for aspiring actors at his acting institute, Actor Prepares. Honouring his close friend and late actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik, Kher has invited participants to showcase their talent through a performance challenge. Aspirants are required to perform an emotional scene from Tanvi The Great titled “How to Join the Army”.

The initiative aims to encourage actors to bring honesty, imagination and depth to their performances. As per the announcement, the scholarship is intended to serve as a platform for discovering fresh talent. The winner will receive a three-month diploma course at Actor Prepares free of cost, while the runner-up will get a one-month certificate course at the Mumbai or Delhi centre.

Participants can submit their entries by recording their performances and sharing them via email or social media. Through this initiative, Kher continues his efforts to mentor young actors while also paying tribute to Satish Kaushik’s legacy.
