The 11th edition of the Hyderabad Tyagaraja Aradhana Music Festival continued on its fourth day, offering music lovers a deep dive into the philosophy and compositions of the legendary saint-composer Tyagaraja. The festival featured an array of performances, from rare kritis to popular masterpieces, presented in vocal, instrumental, and dance formats, making it a true treat for Carnatic music connoisseurs.
The evening opened with a captivating vocal concert by Chi Vrishank Ramadugu, accompanied by Mahavadi Vasu Sastry on violin and Vidwan Aravind on mridangam. This was followed by a melodious performance from Vidwan B. Venkata Vidyasagar, who was supported by Vasu Sastry on violin, Aravind on mridangam, and Vidwan T P Balasubramniam on ghatam, enchanting the audience with his rendition.
The musical journey continued with a vocal duet by Vidushi Aruna and the Padma Sisters. Their performance, complemented by the trio of Vasu Sastry, Aravind, and Balasubramniam, added a vibrant layer to the evening, showcasing intricate interplay between the voices and instruments. The evening concluded with a grand violin concert by Vidwan Dwaram Satyanarayana, accompanied by Pavan Singh on violin, Vidwan Peravali Jayabhaskar on mridangam, and Balasubramniam on ghatam.
