Chaitanyapuri police arrests two persons in automobile theft cases

Chaitanyapuri police officers and staff arrested two persons in automobile theft cases and recovered 30 motorcycles from them on Monday. These two arrested persons involved in bike theft cases in the limits of Rachakonda, Cyberabad, Hyderabad city, Vikarabad, Nizamabad and Sangareddy limits.

The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammed Shaik, AC technician, residing at Golkonda, Hyderabad and Mohammed Imran, Auto driver, residing at Ibadul Rahaman Masjid, Golkonda. Imran residing near Banjara Darwaja, Golkonda is still absconding in this case.

When both the accused came to Chaitanyapuri crossroad to dispose of the stolen motorcycles as well as to commit another motorcycle theft, while proceeding towards Nagole from Kothapet on stolen bike in the middle of the way, they were caught by the vehicle checking party of crime staff at Mohan Nagar crossroad while they were moving in a suspicious manner.

When questioned, the accused conferred their crime and the police recovered 30 motorcycles (Royal Enfield-12, Honda Activa-10, Splendor-3, Honda Unicorn-2, Honda shine-1, Bajaj Platina-1 and Burgman Scooty-1) all worth Rs 46,00,000 and another thief is absconding.

The arrests were made under the supervision and guidance of Rachakonda Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu, under the directions of Praveen Kumar, DCP, LB Nagar Zone and ADCP, LB Nagar Zone, ACP LB Nagar division, SHO Chaitanyapuri PS.
